i just wanna run talking I'm repeating Myself, my words lost all meaning
Lennox readjusted the dress she wore. A little black slip of material that hung to her form. She had recently just moved here, needing to get away from the small town she was from in order to achieve her dreams. Her parents were not supportive. Places like LA were built of sin and if they ever found out she was stripping, she knew theyd have a heart attack. They thought living in a small town would straighten her out get her on the right path. Yeah that was a joke. Lennox couldnt help but laugh at that thought. Who were they honestly kidding? Her parents had a weird sense of... well anything. Completely religious and believing in a higher power to please come and right this child. THey blamed it on her being an orphan. Apparently she had the unfortunate luck of the influence of the devil from the beginning and that was why her parents werent around. God decided she needed to be saved and brought them to her. Really Lennox usually had a field day with all the crap they spewed on her.
She sighed and shrugged wetting the cigarette shed managed to get a few puffs off of and tossed it in the garbage. She pulled out a small travel sized bottle of mouth wash from her small black purse and rinsed her mouth out quickly before returning it and closing the purse. She picked up the fake diamond studded strap of it and slung it over her shoulder making her way out of the bathroom. She was supposed to be meeting her parents here, though she wasnt sure when they were coming. She was hoping they got caught up in whatever church thing they were up to at the moment.
Of all places it had to be a fancy place. THe people here were probably incredibly stuffy. She frowned and made her way up towards the bar slowing some as she felt her phone vibrate. She sat down on a stool setting her purse on the bar top. She pulled her phone out to check it. With a frown she saw that it was from her mother. They apparently got held up and might not make it. She knew what it was. They didnt want to be here, didnt support this. LA was hell for them and even though she knew she would wait long enough to prove to herself that they werent coming, she already knew that this meant her parents were sitting in their chairs at home making some comment about what they must have done to make their daughter go so off the path. Its obviously because she was born from sin. Out of wedlock and to some woman who was probably pumped full of drugs.
Lennox sighed not even feeling bad for the drink she was about to order. Who cared, she was going solo tonight now.

Slept in all my clothes like I didn't care Hopped into a cab, take me anywhere [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][bg=dcddde][atrb=style,border-left: solid 5px #76E4C8; border-right: solid 5px #1FA180;,true] With another school day done, Tristan felt like he should go out and do something fun. He wanted to do something that he has never done before. It was Los Angeles, there must be something that he could find to do that was different. This city was freaking huge! He grew up in a big city like this, but LA sure took the cake when it came to Ohio. Maybe he would just do something crazy like dress up and just sit in the park and people watch. He thought it would be funny to see someone dressed in a fashion that was not suited for the park. To see the look on someone's face and question why he was even in the park like that.
Not only would he get a kick out of looking like a sore thumb in front of everyone, but he would get a chance at a people watching hot spot. Parks were up in the top places to watch other people. It may sound weird but it fascinated Tristan so much that it probably was unhealthy. It was maybe the one thing that Tristan could concentrate on for more than just a short period of time. It was always fun to make out a conversation, but he was not nosy, he just liked to see how other people interacted. Tristan found people so interesting and this was a method for him to get out the need to sit back and watch people.
He did not get as classy as he thought he would. Too bad he did not have like a top hat or a monocle then he would be some fancy bitch. Black skinny jeans, a white dress shirt, and suspenders would just have to do for the occasion. He considered bringing a sweatshirt but figured it was not classy so it was a no go. Walking out of his dorm room he made sure everything was locked before he left. One of the few OCD things about him was that he had to make sure things were locked that needed to be. He did not want his musical things to be taken. That would just suck so bad.
But he did not dread on it as he was sure that the door was locked. As he walked to the park he had second thoughts. He was not so much into the people watching mood. Never realizing that the sun was almost about to set that was probably not a good time to go to the park. Stumped he thought about it for a few seconds. What would he do now? He thought about just going to a bar, but that was so over done. Maybe he could take advantage of the way he was dressed to go to that fancy restaurant that he heard so much to be.
Tristan had never been as it was usually not his scene, but there may be some interesting people to see there. It was always a possibility! So with that in mind he took himself to the restaurant. He of course laughed at the name. It was interesting for sure. As he made his way in the door he immediately spotted the bar. It was obvious that he and his companion deeply missed each other. Tristan could not stop the inviting he got from it that nudged him to go to it. He sat down at the bar and thought for a second on what he wanted. It was great to be of age where he did not have to worry that the bartender was not going to accept it. Though he had always been tall enough to get away with it. Being 6 foot 3 inch of giant had it's pay offs other than just hitting your head on things. That was never fun.
Looking around the bar he managed to look at everything but the girl who was not more than four feet away from him. Dressed in black she was no doubt a looker. And it was kind of unsettling to see her sitting by herself. Maybe her boyfriend was away doing what ever it is that they would be doing. After ordering his first drink of the night, he waited until his second drink to do anything as he did not want trouble if he flirted shamelessly with her. Which he probably would have done anyways. But no one came and he did not even finish his first one before he just bit the bullet and went in. "Hey there." Tristan said with a smile. Tonight just got a tad more interesting.

Lennox looked down at the drink. She ran her hand over side, enjoying the coolness from the ice in the glass. She swirled the small straw around in it before leaning forward and taking a drink. It tasted so good and after being stood up by her parents, it was wonderful. She wanted to just drink this down and get another and then another. The place was starting to fill up as she sat there. It was a pretty popular place so she wasnt surprised.
As she took anther drink she saw someone sit down at the bar. She glanced over, another young person like her, which is pretty nice considering most of the population there was middle aged aside from the bartender. He wasnt too bad looking though he was bald and she preferred a little more hair on her men. As she studied him he didnt seem to notice she was there. He was rather attractive with dark hair, tall, very tall, and thin. She hmd a bit and then went back to her drink. She wasnt conceited but she knew she was a looker so the fact that the guy didnt seem to notice her either meant he was gay or taken. Well even then so maybe he was just gay. Or happy that was one she hadnt thought of.
Lennox figured after this drink she would leave, no sense sitting there by herself looking like a tool. When the bartender came by to ask if she wanted a refill she shook her head. She took the last drink she had and pushed it towards the bartender. Just as she was about to turn in her seat and leave, when she heard the guy address her. She smiled at him. Hey there yourself she said turning towards him instead. And whats your name handsome? she asked moving to sit closer to him. If they were going to talk she didnt want a distance to talk over.

Slept in all my clothes like I didn't care Hopped into a cab, take me anywhere [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][bg=dcddde][atrb=style,border-left: solid 5px #76E4C8; border-right: solid 5px #1FA180;,true] Tristan wondered what a girl like her was doing here. Seeing as more than half the people here seemed to be older than either one of them. Maybe she was one of those women who date older men. You never know! Or maybe she was like this secret agent woman waiting for someone to drop off a top secret passage that could end civilization as they know. Of course the first thing was a little far fetched so the whole secret agent thing was not even close. Maybe she was celebrating something with family members... or maybe she was just here alone.
What ever it was, it did not look like any type of party was coming soon. So when she looked like she was getting to leave Tristan went in. He kindly greeted her like he would anyone else. And instead of leaving, she turned around to face him more. She was even prettier seeing her full on. Her hair and skin tone along with her warm eyes complimented everything about her. Tristan smiled wider when she returned the greeting. "My name is Tristan." he replied. "And what about yours, gorgeous?" Tristan asked. There was no point going around that she was very pretty. It looked like she knew it as well. Which was never a bad thing. If anything, it was a good thing cause she could use that to her advantage.
She moved to a seat right next to him. It was better for the both of them as they did not have to talk more louder to hear each other. That and it made it feel a little more private to have a more closer look to each other. She looked kind of familiar but Tristan could not put his finger on it. She was younger so she probably went to college or hung out with people in college. Maybe he saw her at a party once since he would know if they were in a class together. There would be no missing that face in class. Or it could also have been that he just saw her passing him one day on the way to a class. Well, what ever it was, it did not really matter as here they were here now. And would ultimately getting to know each other now as well.
